ProPred
Predicts MHC Class-II binding regions in an antigen sequence. Predicts MHC Class-II binding regions in an antigen sequence, using quantitative matrices derived from published literature by Sturniolo et. al., 1999. The server will assist in locating promiscuous binding regions that are useful in selecting vaccine candidates.
IMGT
The Molecular Probe Data Base (MPDB) contains information on ca. 4.300 synthetic oligonucleotides with a sequence of up to 100 nucleotides. Data are mainly taken from the literature and are encoded on the basis of controlled vocabularies. At the moment MPDB is searchable through some SRS servers
SGDB
Database system for tumor suppressor genes. A Web-based database system was constructed and implemented that contains 174 tumor suppressor genes. The database homepage was created to accommodate these genes in a pull-down window so that each gene can be viewed individually in a separate Web page. Information displayed on each page includes gene name, aliases, source organism, chromosome location, expression cells/tissues, gene structure, protein size, gene functions and major reference sources. Queries to the database can be conducted through a user-friendly interface, and query results are returned in the HTML format on dynamically generated web pages.
Edward Jenner Inst for Vaccine Research
Mission: To carry out scientific research, of the highest international standards aimed at: understanding the immune responses against infectious organisms or malignant cells, applying new knowledge and technologies to develop effective means of inducing protective or therapeutic immunity in humans, developing models of human disease for studies of novel vaccines or new formulations, developing new formulations to allow delivery of antigens to the immune system for the induction of protective immunity, encouraging and supporting science and technology activities in the UK that may lead to the discovery of new vaccines for human disease.
A Database of MHC Binding Peptides
MHCPEP is a database comprising over 13000 peptide sequences known to bind MHC molecules. Entries were compiled from published reports as well as from direct submissions of experimental data.
