Yeast Resource Center
The National Center for Research Resources' Yeast Resource Center is located at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. The mission of the center is to facilitate the identification and characterization of protein complexes in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The YRC provides expertise and access to five advanced technologies:

  • mass spectrometry
  • yeast two-hybrid arrays
  • deconvolution fluorescence microscopy
  • protein structure prediction
  • computational biology

Through collaborations with YRC personnel these critical, but costly, technologies are made available to a large community of researchers throughout the country at no charge.

PROPHECY is a yeast phenome database. Phenomics is the large-scale quantitative phenotypic analysis of genotypes on a genome-wide scale—connects automated data generation with the development of novel tools for phenotype data integration, mining and visualization. PubMed Reference: PROPHECY

Yeast Microarray Global Viewer
A yeast microarray data mining tool for genome-wide yeast expression data. Database includes much of the available expression data published on yeast microarrays.
yMGV. The yeast Microarray Global Viewer was created 3 years ago as a database that houses a collection of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Schizosaccharo myces pombe microarray data sets published in 82 different articles. yMGV couples data mining tools with a user-friendly web interface so that, with a few mouse clicks, one can identify the conditions that affect the expression of a gene or list of genes regulated in a set of experiments. One of the major new features we present here is a set of tools that allows for inter-organism comparisons. This should enable the fission yeast community to take advantage of the large amount of available information on budding yeast transcriptome.PubMed Reference: Yeast Microarray Global Viewer

Génolevures
Comparative genomics and molecular evolution of hemiascomycetous yeasts. The Génolevures online database provides data and tools to facilitate comparative genomic studies on hemiascomycetous yeasts. Now, four complete genome sequences recently determined (Candida glabrata, Kluyveromyces lactis, Debaryomyces hansenii, Yarrowia lipolytica) have been added to the partial sequences of 13 species previously analysed by a random approach. The database also includes the reference genome Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Data are presented with a focus on relations between genes and genomes: conservation of genes and gene families, speciation, chromosomal reorganization and synteny.PubMed Reference: Génolevures
